My Babies......

SABU and BONGO........ What can I say, God has not given me children but He has placed these 2 animals in my life that have taught me alot about myself. Anyone that knows me, knows that these dogs (especially Sabu) are etched in my heart forever.... Sabu is my American Staffishire Terrior, he is now 12 years old and counting. Sabu has given to me just as much as I have given him. We have been through some real trying time together from moving state to state, the car accident, him getting lost for a week, living in the truck and many more....

He is so in tuned with me it is like we were meant to protect each other. When I am sad .... he can feel it, when I am mad .... he knows, and when he is in pain .... so am I. I know, I know....he is getting up there in age and i have to start mentally prepairing myself for his departure ( I am no where near ready for even the thought of it), but I can't complain he has given me the best years..

And this is where Bongo comes in.... He is a 5 mth old Pit Bull. I am now starting to notice some very similarities btw him and Sabu. Maybe it is because he is learning from him.... The funny thing as close as I am with Sabu I think my bond with Bongo is going to be even stronger...you see...........Bongo is going to help me get through the passing of Sabu when it comes and also I did not have Sabu for a big part of his early years. Bongo has been with me since 6 weeks old. He already is sooooo attached to me and he is very observant of all my behavior.. it is almost as if he studies me and does not leave my side, even outside.... By the way he is gorgious... I Love My Dogs....
