Tuesday, January 27th 2009, was a day mixed with emotions. I went to a wake of the uncle of a very special person in my life. This person used to be my boyfriend over 12 years ago, needless to say his family is like family to me wheither we are together or not. Him and his wife have been very good about sharing his famiy with me even though we are apart. This family had a very big impact on my life and helped me see what family is really about and made me apart of that through good and bad, for this I am eternally grateful.



I was very sad that my reunion with them was due to one of them passing on...but I must admit that it was difficult to control the joy that came across me when I saw them all.

It is horrrible that is takes a tragedy to reunite people that are so dear to you..... I hope to see them again real soon..

Thank God it's Friday...

Well, all I can say is "Thank God it's Friday". This week has been one crazy emotional roller coster. Between the 2 wakes I attended and the persistant arguing btw. "The Man" and myself, I am definately ready to start my weekend and take a break from the everyday hustle and bustle. Cheers... to a good weekend.....enjoy, I sure will....
